It is considered green because the electricity comes from renewable sources of energy that don\u2019t create any harmful emissions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">And while fossil fuels emit harmful greenhouse gases when they burn, hydrogen only emits harmless water vapour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">The technology is part of EU efforts to become climate neutral by 2050.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \"><b>\u2018Great potential\u2019 <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">Green hydrogen could replace coal in heavy industries such as steel mills.
