Their focus is on predicting the physico-chemical characteristics of agri-food waste streams and identifying optimal valorisation pathways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this context, Model2Bio has organised a free conference titled &#8220;Rethinking waste and new ways to reuse it: the bioeconomy as an opportunity for regional development&#8221; on October 19. The objective is to provide answers to critical questions through panel discussions and engaging presentations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This interdisciplinary event will bring together food producers, waste managers, bio-based industries, academics, and policymakers to discuss the transition of the agri-food sector towards a circular bioeconomy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the questions to be addressed in this conference include: What are the challenges with waste management? What are the latest scientific innovations regarding the reuse of food production waste? What is needed to make the agri-food sector a truly circular bioeconomy? Additionally, the potential of the Gipuzkoa territory, Basque Country, for the development of the bioeconomy will be explored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agenda and more details about the conference will be shared soon.
