Project description<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div><\/h4><\/div>

The BIRPLAST project aims to transform waste and rejects from light packaging waste treatment plants (EELL), end-of-life vehicles (ELV), waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), urban and industrial waste that are currently placed in landfills, or are recovered energetically, into resources by promoting their material recovery through their transformation into new plastics and other high-value chemical products.<\/p>\n

Global Factor’s R&D team participates in the project by providing support in Circular Economy.<\/p>\n

BIRPLAST is a project co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027. It is a strategic business R&D project for the Basque Country in line with the Transversal Traction Initiative for the circular economy defined in the PCTI Euskadi 2030.<\/p>\n<\/div>
