Evaluation and development of a roadmap for the integration of the circular economy in the country

The general objective in this project is to assess the current state of circularity in the economies of Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay, to develop a roadmap towards a country-specific circular economy strategy.

The analysis before the final roadmap identifies key actors, stakeholders, private and public initiatives, geographical areas, as well as opportunities and barriers to implement a circular economy.

The framework incorporates and focuses on the climate benefits that come from a circular economy model and identifies the advantages that circularity will bring to the implementation of National Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the achievement of the Paris Agreement objectives.
