Implementation of Nigeria’s Climate Change Response Programme

The overall objective of the project is to support the development and implementation of the Nigeria Climate Change Response Program (NCCRP) to ensure the country’s economic growth and development strategies while meeting its 2030 commitments.

More specifically, the project contributes to the creation of Nigeria’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions profile, with the aim of identifying mitigation actions that reduce energy use and costs in favour of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions, as well as the collection and treatment of municipal solid waste.

Global Factor’s team supports the development of institutional capacity studies and recommendations for improvement to achieve the project’s objective, as well as the approach and development of a Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system specific to the waste sector.
