Last February 27th, Global Factor joined the event ” Banca Verde”, organised by the Banco de Desarrollo del Ecuador (BDE B.P). On behalf of the group, Dayana Vega, Latam Manager, and Pablo Tapia, Project Manager, joined the meeting.
Within the framework of this project, Global Factor played a key role in leading the process of capacity building and gap closure for BDE B.P. In addition, the Global Factor team and BDE B.P. worked together to prepare the formal application for accreditation to the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
This milestone marks a step forward for BDE B.P., consolidating its position as the first institution in Ecuador to aspire to become a direct access entity to the Fund. Beyond its financial significance, this achievement represents a tangible step forward in efforts to address the environmental challenges facing the nation.
