In partnership with the Agence Française de Développement in Mexico, Global Factor has led a strategic project to consolidate the sustainability integration of the Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior (BICE) in Argentina. The main objective of this ambitious project was to design a sustainable development strategy and monitoring framework for the period 2023-2026, as well as to strengthen BICE’s Environmental and Social Management System.

Project objectives:

1. Design of a Comprehensive Sustainability Strategy:

  • Creation of a solid strategy that addresses current and future challenges, consolidating BICE’s commitment to sustainable development.
  • Development of practical tools to facilitate the effective implementation of the strategy in all areas of the bank.

2. Strengthening the Capacity of Staff and the Environmental and Social Management System:

  • Empowerment of BICE staff to address the sustainability challenges identified in the strategy.
  • Definition and implementation of a strong environmental and social management system aligned with international standards.

3. Establishment of a Comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting System:

  • Design of a monitoring and evaluation system that reflects the sustainability strategy’s objectives and content.
  • Development of reporting tools that enable transparent communication of sustainability achievements and progress.
