On April 28th, Global Factor participated as a gold sponsor in the second edition of the Regional Congress on Sustainable Finance (COREFIS) held in Guatemala City and organized by the Banking Association of Guatemala. This event served as a space for representatives from financial institutions in the region, multilateral organizations, and high-level experts to share experiences, expectations, and the vision of the importance of sustainable finance and climate change, and how financial institutions have addressed the related challenges and opportunities.

Our Country Manager for Ecuador, Dayana Vega Vásconez, gave a presentation in which she shared an overview of the role of financial institutions and the impact of climate change on their operations, opening up discussion among attendees and generating interest from those looking to adopt this role in their institutions. In addition, at our booth, our senior consulting team provided complementary information on Global Factor’s diverse range of products and services aimed at strengthening the management of financial institutions, from a strategic and operational perspective, providing technical assistance and advice to address these challenges and capitalize on opportunities arising from this issue.

Finally, the team’s mission has served to strengthen relationships with relevant stakeholders in the country through personalized visits and interviews.
